no internet when connected to vpn

L2 Linker

just setup GlobalProtect, when anyone connects to the vpn, they are able to access my company resources (file shares, remote server connections, etc) but they lose their internet connection.  i have noticed that we are not getting a gateway assigned once we connect, i feel like that's the issue but i I can't figure out how to resolve this.

I just connected via VPN and noticed under advanced logging settings, network configuration IP Routing Enabled says No, also under connections Bytes In is 0

If you route all traffic through GlobalProtect VPN don't forget to add security policy from GlobalProtect zone to internet and add GlobalProtect zone into source NAT rule.

Hello,

Check the logs to see where the traffic is getting blocked. The typical (but not always) things are routing issues or missing policies.

Hello @branedge

I'd like to highlight that in the ipconfig output, it's normal not to see a gateway assigned. In this setup, the traffic is directed to the GlobalProtect (GP) and then forwarded to the gateway (GW).

If split tunneling isn't in use, all machine traffic is routed through the VPN gateway.

Considering that users can access internal resources, it might be worth examining the configuration of security policies and routing for the VPN subnet.
