NSX-T east-west traffic integration sizing question.

L2 Linker

Hi,

I have a question about using palo alto for east west traffic inspection in an NSX-T environment.

There are 2 deployment models in a service cluster and per host model.

https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/vm-series/9-1/vm-series-deployment/set-up-the-vm-series-firewall-o...

The largest VM-series 700 has a throughput of 8 Gbps Threat prevention.  How do is scale this for larger throughput ?

In a service cluster for example?    Can i just add firewalls to increase performance?  Does it act like a single cluster ?

Or do i have to create seperate redirection policies to different firewall groups?

Kind regards,

Frederik De Muyter.

Hello,

When sizing, use the smallest number for the features you want to utilize.

Hope that helps.
