Optimizing a particular website

L4 Transporter

We have a website which all of our 500 users use daily.  Our users do a lot of streaming (youtube, netflix, you name it).  Depending on the user the "allow" rule for http, https and New-relic coudl be as much as 40+ rules down.

Would it be beneficial to put a rule specific to that URL at the top of the site and disable AV, antispyware, "disable server response" etc?

Thanks

Bob

If you palo is not over loaded, no visible benefit from either speed or snapiness. Just easier for you for managing your app.

Hope help.

Sur, you could create a new application base on host header which identify your application and based on it you could create a application override rule.

the application override avoid L7 analysing, in this way you disable  AV, antispyware.

Right, but would there be any visible benefit in speed, snapiness etc?

Thanks,
