Outlook Anywhere


we recently moved to Palo Alto for our firwall needs. Is it possible to get Microsoft's Outlook Aynwhere to work with the Palo Alto firewall?

I dont know what "Outlook Anywhere" is but you can as a test set appid:any and just allow the particular ports in service: in your security rule and then look in the traffic log to see how PA identifies the traffic.

The appid database is also available online so you can search in there to find out if there already exists an appid for "Outlook Anywhere":

Otherwise you can always create your own custom appid's unless they are of public interrest because then you can request app enhancement from the Apps and Threats Research Center.
