PA-410 commit shows internal error and found that logdb-quota shows abnormal

L0 Member

A customer using PA-410 and PanOS is 11.2.10-h3. When the customer attempted to submit the configuration, an internal error occurred.

Has anyone run into this issue before?

Hi @Brian-Li ,

Impossible to say what the exact problem is without analysis of the TSF.

That said, I have seen similar behavior related to an internal management and/or device-server processing condition affecting commit and content installation operations.

Restarting the Management Server and Device Server cleared the failure condition and restored normal operation in those cases.

I'd recommend scheduling a maintenance window and  restarting those services.

Alternatively, submit a support case with TAC so they can analyse the TSF to identify the root cause.

Kind regards,

Thanks for your reply Kiwi.

This issue was already present on the previous firewall version 11.2.4-h2. We later upgraded to 11.2.10-h3, but the problem still persists. Theoretically, both the services and the device should have gone through a complete restart during the PanOS upgrade process.I will try to rebooting the entire firewall again.
