PBF rule

L2 Linker

Hi,

Could you please help me with the below query.

What exactly it happens when I enable "Disable this rule if nexthop/monitor ip is unreachable" in the PBF rule - > Forwarding Tab - > Monitor Check Box.

Suppose , if the Monitored IP is not reachable , It ll fall back to routing-table. What happens if the monitored IP is reachable after some time ?

Please find the attached Screenshot for your reference.

Thanks.

Raj

If the monitored IP is unreachable this PBF rule is disabled, PBF policy is further evaluated for another matching rule and then the routing table - traffic is send according to what is matched.

When the monitored IP is reachable again the PBF rule will be enabled.

I see you are configuring tunnel.1 as the egress interface - why not use the IPSec Tunnel monitoring?
