Hello.

I have seen this occasionally, with high CPU on the mgmt plane with the 9.0 through 10.x versions.

I usually wait about 5 secs and then I am fine to continue with my programming.

My suggestion first is to get you up to 9.1.9, just to rule out any past bug fixes that were discovered and resolved.

As for root cause, may I suggest you contacting PANW TAC, as this request may be beyond the scope of this forum.

This usually happens if some process is not in running state.

Check ">show system software status" to see if anything is stopped.

Try to restart that particular process, you might need support help to get them up in certain scenarios.

Also i have seen that when you reboot PA and all the processes are not yet ready then this error comes.

I have seen this mostly on PA 220 and if you wait for few mins then I can login fine no issues.

Regards

MP
