Hi All,
So there is a link on this platform updated often for recommended panos releases.
However, with VM FWs in Azure.. can i assume the same will apply to them as i am not able to find anything specific to these..
current VMs running 9.1.13 - what is the 'recommended stable' version to upgrade to? 10.1.10-h1 or 10.2.4-h3?
also will an upgrade to 10.2.x require one to upgrade to 10.1.x first or will it take a direct jump to 10.2.x?
thanks in adv

Hi @PA_nts ,
Yes, you can refer to the Recommended Release Guidance for PAN-OS virtual or hardware. Keep in mind, that the guidance does not take into account any specific customer configuration. I recommend to look to the preferred release provided by support, read the release notes to include the known issues, and test in your environment to verify whether or not it is optimal for your environment.
If you would like to stay on 9.1 code, the current preferred release is 9.1.16. If you would like to upgrade to 10.1, the preferred release is 10.1.10-h1. For 10.2, the preferred is 10.2.4-h3.
If you would like to upgrade up to 10.2 please follow the following steps:
