Retrieving Content 'WildFire' info failed with error

Dear Team,


Iam facing the issue with Wildfire and continuously received this alert every minute.


2021-07-11 10:40:51.821 +0300 check wildfire license: valid license
2021-07-11 10:41:07.268 +0300 Error: pan_fbd_cloud_post_upload_file(pan_fbd_fwd.c:4939): upload curl return No error and cloud response code: 418
2021-07-11 10:41:07.269 +0300 Error: pan_fbd_cloud_post_upload_file(pan_fbd_fwd.c:5006): pan_fbd_cloud_upload error response code 418




I already check the wildfire registration device and it's connected with  Cloud. 


Please advice.

that is odd that this is happening, esp when you see that there is already see a connection to the cloud.


One thing you can try to do is change the global cloud that you are connecting to and see if that changes anything.. 


  • Go to the Device tab
  • In setup, open the WildFire tab
  • Select the menu item for General Settings
  • Change the WildFire Public Cloud address
