Scanning for Misconfigured Endpoints in Cortex XDR

L1 Bithead

Hello good day,

I wanted to inquire if there is any built-in functionality or available option within Cortex XDR that allows for scanning and identifying misconfigured endpoints. Additionally, is there a specific query or set of queries that can be used to detect endpoints with misconfigurations within the Cortex XDR environment?

Our primary objective is to enhance our overall security posture by ensuring that all endpoint policies are correctly configured and aligned with our internal security standards. Implementing such a scan would help us proactively address potential vulnerabilities and maintain a robust defense against security threats.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance, best practices, or documentation you can share regarding this.

Thank you very much for your assistance and support. I look forward to your response!

@A.ABDULLAH893848,

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking? What sort of misconfiguration would you be looking for? What license tier do you have, since to get endpoint data that would generally be required for something like this you need Pro? Do you have XTH?
