I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. It sounds like you may be attempting to verify that a malicious file is going to be caught by the firewall, is that correct? Do you have a threat prevention license or WildFire license installed on your firewall?

Hello,
If you do not have any security profiles attached to your security policies, then no, the Palo Alto will not be scanning for those threats and it will not be in the threat log.

Yes, i have a threat prevention license or WildFire license installed on my firewall.
By default, setting by the firewall, No create a security profile like AV profile, wide fire.. etc.
so, if i download the viurs, the firewall will detected and log in threat log?
