Hi,
I have a requirement from a customer, that he doesn't want user based security policy for a certain location.
He want that only specific computer names which are in domain should be blocked for certain application.
Is this possible using global proctect or any work around for the same?
Please help..
Thanks & Regards

Hi Nitesh,
As of now there is no way to have mapping between IP and computer name, hence this is not possible.
Closest thing you can do is users group based policy.
How to Configure Group Mapping settings?
I do not think this might be a valid Feature Request, because this is extremely rare requirement.

Hi NiteshS
As mentioned in this thread:Re: Blocking traffic from specific AD Computer
Computer names from AD (with the $ preceding) are ignored in the UserID agent and as such you will not be able to deal with the computer names as you do with AD Usernames. As the UserID Agent will not create an IP to User Mapping for the computer you will not be able to block traffic in the security policy, based on the computer name. If you have a particular subnet or static IP addresses that these computers come from, that may be the simplest way to block their specific traffic.
Thanks
