slowness in traffic

Hi,

Users complain about the office365 outlook connectivity ,slow submission of email . From PA prespecive what need to be verified and make sure there is nothing from the PA side .

That aside...To appease the peseants.  I'd just do a simple ping to "login.microsoftonline.com" and then to some other service maybe www.msn.com or something.

 

Now I realize that's a gross over simplifcation of troubleshooting but that's the best you're going to get from the FW perspective.

 

If you've got an internal relay it more likely that for whatever reason that relay is delaying the send/receipt of the message or also just as likely the O365 cloud was bogged down for the time.
