My Standard License on PA says it expired, however the description on it is same as the last box which says License am I missing something ?

yes you can safely do that
If your management interface has connectivity to the internet (either directly or throughg a service route) uyou can always click 'retrieve licences' to get the latest licences from the licensing server

likely a license file was not removed when replacing it with a newer version
you can do this manually via the CLI
> delete license key [tab]

Thanks for pointing that out Reaper, I can see the Standard license there, however, I do not know what function I am missing because that is showing up as expired on the PaloAlto Firewall. I tried even rebooting the firewall still no effect.

So I can safely remove the Standard.key file without affecting anything on the firewall is it? The reason why I want to remove it is because that is sticking out like a sore thumb on the license page. Won't the new license actually remove the stale license ?
