Telnet in PAN os

L1 Bithead

Hi Team,

I want to check the connectivity of particular port from one firewall interface.

Like lets say i want to test connectivity to 8.8.8.8 over 443 from one of the interface. I'm aware Telnet doesn't work in PAN os.

I want to know it there is any alternative to this.

Regards

the troubleshoting tool (device > troubleshooting) is about all you get in that regard

you can use SSH to test if you are able to connect, but external tools should be used to test connectivity

Thanks Reaper,

I tried SSH port 443 source <interface-ip> host <destination>.

is this right syntax? I tried but connection un successful. But policy in place.

Any docs for this cmd from PA available?
