Does anyone have a rough idea of how much traps runs per endpoint. We run roughly 800 laptops and desktops that this would be deployed to but I'd like to get a rough idea of pricing to determine if this is something that management would actually try to push through and I should spend the time looking into. Thanks!

We initially looked at this when TRAPS was announced. We are education, and our quote was $180 per server and $45 per end point, plus the annual support license.
For 50 servers and 200 clients, our cost was $50,565.00
We laughed and decided not to use it. Our budget is too small.
Maybe pricing is lower now. Our pricing was from April 16.

I think the Palo sales reps would caution making a purchase decision on what another organization was quoted for a product or service.
Different companies get different pricing based upon many factors so, what someone else paid for something isn't necessarily going to be what someone else pays.
Prices are always negotiable

I more wanted to get a idea of how physiable it was going to be for our organizaiton. Our manager will handle actually getting the quote and making any purchase decisions. I just wanted to know how much time I should actually dedicate to learning the Traps management console.

It doesn't take long to learning the console. Usually, about several weeks. Policies are straight forward. The biggest thing is just learning the EPM's. Policy flow is pretty straight forward.
