Troubleshoot Drop Counters

L4 Transporter

Hi Community,

I got a question:
During a project migration, we noticed asymmetric routing and had to disable the protection in Zone Protection profiles.

While doing the tasks for aftermath, I wanted to analyze the problem and had a look at the global counters.

There are a few drop counters I want to analyze deeper, so:

How can I match specific sessions to a given counter?

E.g. we have the received 802.1q tag, ARP error ... counter raising and I want to know which sessions cause this.

Looking forward to your inputs

Best Regards
Chacko

Hi @Chacko42 ,

There's no easy way I'm afraid.

Use a very strict packet diag filter and at the same time do a delta on your counters is as close as you can get as far as I know.

Cheers !
