Unable to redirect to desired website after successful authenticated with RADIUS server..

Not applicable

Hi All,

I encountered a situation :

User in the RADIUS server authenticated successful with CISCO ASA RADIUS Server or Microsoft RADIUS but unable redirected to the desired page such as www.google.com or www.yahoo.com... The page just stay at the captive portal page... The PAN firewall log shows it successful authenticated...  There is no policy blocking it.. I try so many times and the issue still the same... I follow the PAN captive portal without AD configuration guide and it still not working.. Anyone encountered this issue? Suppose once successful authenticated,it will redirect to a new page.. Please help... Anything I miss out in the config?

Policy in rules are all allow ( any - any )

Captive portal rules (enable)

Do i need to install User Identification Agent even though i didnt use Active Directory? I am just using RADIUS server to authenticate..

Software version : 3.0.5

Hardware : PA-500

PC OS : Windows 7

Please help to advise me on this matter...

Thank you...

Jeff,

To answer your last question, you don't need to install the User ID Agent since you aren't using AD.  You should be able to use Captive Portal to successfully authenticate to your RADIUS server and then access a Web page.  Since you've followed the configuration steps outlined in the document How to Configure Captive Portal (without Active Directory) it appears that this issue will require some troubleshooting. Please either call or email Support so that we can work with you to resolve the problem.
