Update to PAN-OS 10.0.8-h4 causes slow GUI response on PA-820

L2 Linker

Hello,

After updating our PA-820's to 10.0.8-h4 I have noticed the GUI to be extremely slow to respond.  I am actually getting a faster GUI response from a PA-220 on 10.0.7 than our PA-820's.  Has anyone else noticed this?  Waiting for 'Monitor, Traffic' is incredibly slow and almost unusable.  It can take up to 25 seconds for the screen to respond.  I've done the usual clear cache, and this happens on multiple browsers.  It's like working on a PA-500 with 1GB of RAM.

Hello,

I have seen this on several version of the 10 release. I think it has something to do with the way it parses and displays logs. I havent opened a ticket yet since I dont really have a lot of time to devote to that currently. However I have noticed that if I use a date filter, the pages do load faster. ( receive_time geq '2021/12/13 00:00:00' )

I just updated to 10.0.8-h8 and things are back to normal.  Man, I lost a lot of time troubleshooting some false positives from some threats.  It would take the GUI a solid 20-25 seconds to respond.  I also noticed those little dots that appear when there is a configuration applied to a specific area were also missing and have now returned.
