use GlobalProtect for Network Logon

L4 Transporter

Dear,

Is it possible to use GlobalProtect with pre-logon enabled as a "Network Logon" for Windows?

This way I want to use the GlobalProtect to tunnel the domain-login request to our AD when the pc is on the road.

Ultimately we want to use this for users with expired accounts to be able to reset their domain password remotely.

If this is not possible, then what use is the pre-logon feature on the GlobalProtect?

Kind regards

Dear,

I am able to pre-logon with GlobalProtect with machine certificate.

This is not the issue.

The issue that even with pre-logon success -> it will try to authenticate using it's own ip+route, instead of the globalprotect ip+route

Hi,

Sorry for miss-undersatnding. If the aim is to use to real IP ans not the GP one, for me it's not possible, the "real" IP never go through tyhe VPN.

Question what's the problem for using GP's one ?

Rgds

No no, I want to use the GP ip, NOT the "real" ip, but this is not working...

Great ...

Look in RN for 5.0.10:

 58539—When using GlobalProtect pre-logon mode, an administrator was unable to log

a user out from the web interface or the CLI and the session did not time out correctly.

This was caused by an issue relating to different domain names being configured for the

certificate profile and the authentication profile. This issue was fixed so that domain

names are properly converted and users log out and time out as expected.

Can be interesting for your case 🙂

Hope help
