Verification of Generated Key Pair Failed

L4 Transporter

Hi Guys,

I am trying to renew the Root CA on my Lab but the PA is throwing me this below error.

Do I need to re-generate the Root CA? How can I go on renewing this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Pras ,

That is a strange issue.  Yes, the best thing to do is regenerate the root CA.  This accomplishes the same thing as the renew button except you have to manually add the certificate attributes.

In either case, you will have a new CA.  Any certificates issued by the CA will need to be replaced.  Any devices trusting the old CA will need to trust the new CA because it will be a different certificate.

Thanks,

Tom

@Pras,

It looks like you're trying to renew and expired certificate from your screenshot in October. While expired certificates can be directly renewed for a short period once the certificate has expired, renewal generally is only possible 30 days post expiration before it needs to be regenerated.
