My company is looking to upgrade our firewall OS. Support suggested 5.0.9. Another source said that was bad and to go with 5.0.8. Are there any stability issues or bugs that the community has been experiencing? Thank you!

Every time when new PAN released I read release notes to know what is fixed in this version.
For me 5.0.9 fixed some bugs related to reports so I'm on this version.
I can recomendate you to read all release notes from veriosn that you are using until 5.0.9, or to trust support guys.
