Automatically Add Global Protect Portal Address to Global Protect Setting

L2 Linker

Please provide input on the following scenario

  • Current VPN Portal address = vpn1@domain.org (sample ip 1.1.1.1)
  • New VPN Portal address = vpn2@domain.org (sample ip 2.2.2.2)
  • What is the best way to transition users from the current vpn portal to the new vpn portal and minimize downtime?
  • Is there a way that the new vpn portal address can be automatically added to the Global Protect client settings on the users remote access computer?

Thanks

We are in need of this same solution as we are trying to migrated from on site to Prisma.  The userbase is too large and requires stringent uptimes to simply flip the DNS pointer.
