GlobalProtect Gets White Screen at CBL (v. 6.0.4-c26)

L0 Member

Hello,

My organization is having an issue with connecting to the GlobalProtect VPN app 'Connect BEFORE Logon' (CBL) feature specifically with the 6.0.4-c26 version. Our previous version, 5.2.6 handled this feature just fine but our organization needs to utilize the latest version for security reasons.

6.0.4-c26 can connect to the VPN normally when the user is logged into Windows. The problem only occurs at the Windows logon screen – which we need working. I will explain where

After entering my credentials into the PINGIdentity portal, it gets stuck at a white screen while attempting to do the 2FA step. I have screenshotted what this looks like to give you a better idea.

I have done some troubleshooting myself with ensuring the PLAP and Connect Before Logon registry keys were set.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get the 2FA screen to come up? 2FA on CBL works on 5.2.6 but not 6.0.4-c26.

Same exact results here, but client version doesn't seem to matter.  Our issue seems to be related to a move away from DUO to Microsoft MFA.

Hi,

I am having the same issue. White screen on windows pre-logon. We are on version 6.1.1-5 and have been unable to find a solution for it. It happens to random users and you are not always able to reproduce it. We are doing Azure SAML authentication and we get the screen before you get prompted for 2FA.

We are having the same issue with every version after 6.1.2.
