Hi!
We have a problem updating GP-Client 6.3.1-c376 -> 6.3.1-c383.
Error:Unable to install because a newer version of this product is already installed.
As we are using SCCM (not Portal) to upgrade all Clients, it would be very important for us to get this fixed with msi file..
Best regards and thanks a lot in advance!

If Windows MSI installation needs to be done, the existing GP App 6.3.1 should be first uninstalled before installing the GP App hotfix.
As a best practice, the GlobalProtect App upgrade should be done using Portal's configuration Allow User to Upgrade GlobalProtect App options.

Thanks a lot for your feedback!
As uninstall/install is not possible remotely and there is obviously no way to install the hotfix only, our only possibility will be to use the portal onetime to update.

Yes, you can leverage the portal upgrade feature.

Just a reply to say:
thanks for posting this question - I hit this today trying to upgrade my 6.3.1-376 install to c383 (I'm testing 6.3.x within our Org) hitting 3x of the items resolved by it.
And I found this thread, and the answer. Wasn't aware that hotfixes were best uninstall/install'd. And now I am.
Appreciate it.
