Hello!
Is there a road map for macOS 15 support?
Is there a known version of the Global Protect agent that will support macOS 15?
Thanks,
James Rodgers

Hi @James.Rodgers ,
There isn't a date listed, but historically it takes a few months after the new macOS is available for the new macOS to be officially supported.

Any update on this? Apple just released the first macOS 15 release candidate version.

Months? How do they justify that? "Yes, we know that we've had 3-4 months to test in the beta, but we couldn't be bothered"?
What a wonderful pressrelease that would be to have to issue...

A couple months after the official release or the pre-release? Ivanti had it listed as a critical release and it pushed it to half of our MacBooks. A handful of people are having some disconnection issues. Any suggestions on how to navigate those issues
or eta on when the official support is in place?

macOS 15 Is now generally available and getting widely adopted and installed. When can we expect a GlobalProtect update that supports this version of macOS?

Hello, please give a hint, when it will be fixed. There is also a problem with Redhat9-Linux-Clients. I guess this is the same problem.

I have run Palo Alto "Global Protect" App Version something(?) forgotten thru my now current 6.0.8-601.
It ran without issue thru all the Beta's from 14 to the now current 15.0.1.
I'm running Apple Silcon... an M3 MacBook Pro.
Did any of these people "try it"? (Maybe your IT or Security staff are to sluggish to care to help... I understand.)
I have ONE COMPLAINT dear Palo Alto... EVERY TIME I LOGON, your VPN App tells me "Your device doesn't meet security requirements."
MAYBE Palo Alto would care to EXPLAIN exactly how an Apple M3 MacBook Pro is LACKING security features...??
MAYBE Palo Alto would like to give me the OPTION to NOT SEE THIS MESSAGE ANY MORE since it's BULLSHIT!
Palo Alto... what of it?!?

@vte888 - we are running 6.0.9 with no major issues at this point. We were told from our Security and Network teams to proceed with caution due to GP issues related to macOS 15. We don't force the upgrade until apps have vendor support, however, we do allow the option, and users understand the risk associated.

Now the interesting part...
Any org that is going through a device refresh may have issues with GP not supporting macOS yet. Once Apple updates their Mac lineup to M4 (anticipated to be soon...), those devices will begin shipping with macOS 15... Not a whole lot you can do about that, but keep changing SKUs for models that ship with macOS 14... But Apple will normally discontinue those previous models (M3 - M3 Pros).
Not to mention the number of MDM updates and enhancements in macOS 15 (Platform SSO mainly) that organizations want to be begin testing and leverage day one!

Are you using any HIP checks with the macOS 15? I tried few versions 6.0.7 and 6.3.1.c383 and hip checks failed. We have mostly certificate and some AV hip stuff.
