Use Rest API (10.1) to terminate user from VPN

L1 Bithead

Does Rest API (10.1) support terminating a user from the VPN?  I know this can be done in XML API but I am not seeing the commands I am looking for available in /restapi-doc.

Ideally, I could connect to Panorama and terminate both Prisma SASE mobile users and users connected to local firewalls using Rest API.

Thanks,

John

Hi @John_J ,

The PAN-OS REST API is for CRUD configuration commands only.  https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/pan-os/10-1/pan-os-panorama-api/get-started-with-the-pan-os-rest-a...

You cannot perform operational commands.

Thanks,

Tom
