I was curious if anyone knew what type of IPSec protocols that GlobalProtect uses when checking the IPSec option? I tried exploring my packets with Wireshark while turning the VPN on, but I haven't been successful in identifying them.

You can configure that yourself in Network > Network Profiles > GlobalProtect IPSec Crypto
the default is aes-128-cbc / SHA1
