With a new year comes new ideas! We have a lot of great things happening in the LIVEcommunity, that we are excited to be sharing with all of you! Keep reading to find out what you missed this month.
The customer experience is always top of mind for the LIVEcommunity team. With more than 160,000+ smart, collaborative Network and Cybersecurity pros, we strive to ensure that you all are finding the answers you need and have a great experience while doing so. If you haven’t already noticed, there is a NEW homepage redesign on LIVEcommunity that we are super excited to share with all of you! We always welcome feedback, so feel free to let us know what you think of this new redesign (pictured below).
Last June we launched our community expert member program, recognizing LIVEcommunity members who consistently share their expertise and bring value to it through helping others. Learn more about the Cyber Elite Program here.
We also started a spotlight interview series with the Cyber Elite experts, featuring Q&A sessions and a lot of interesting stories from each of them. This month we met with @S.Cantwell, Senior Security Architect for Cloud Harmonics, a Palo Alto Networks preferred Authorized Training Partner (ATP). A certified PCNSA, PCNSE, and PCNSC, Steven shared his cybersecurity journey, motivations for engaging on LIVEcommunity, and more in this blog. Thanks @S.Cantwell for spending some time with us and sharing your experiences!
We are sure you heard about the SolarWinds supply chain attack or what Palo Alto Networks is referring to as the SolarStorm Attack. Palo Alto Networks is here to help you and make sure you have all the resources you need to stay protected. We have a blog guiding you through all the different ways Palo Alto Networks can help and also an on-demand SolarStorm webinar you can watch to learn more. Check it out and feel free to share your thoughts in the discussion we posted related to this event. Here are the links:
Listening to your needs and wants is extremely important to us. We noticed there were some popular discussions, so we brought back our Discussion of the Week (DOTW) series where our Solution Engineers, @jdelio and @kiwi, highlight some of these popular discussion topics and provide more context and additional resources. You can find all DOTW’s published so far down below.
If there are other popular topics you think we should cover, let us know in the comments down below!
There were some exciting product features releases this month that you should know about! Find what out these new features mean for you and how you may be impacted:
Our NEW Alibaba technology resource page is here! What does this mean for you? This page was created to help you find information about VM-Series on Alibaba Cloud and leverage all the resources to help accelerate your VM-Series deployment. You can find discussions, articles, videos, and additional resources, all related to this technology. Take a tour
We hope you enjoyed this monthly recap! As always we welcome any and all feedback.
In efforts to get to know you all better, we plan on closing out these monthly recaps with a question. This month's question is: What are you looking forward to this year? Comment down below!
It's an exciting time to be here and to be part of the LIVEcommunity team. I especially enjoyed the interview with @S.Cantwell -- good stuff -- and the Discussions of the Week (DOTW) posts are really informative.
What do I look forward to in 2021? I'd have to say the hope that we will see travel reopened to some degree, and hopefully by next December (Summer in the Southern hemisphere), my wife & I can fly to a country or countries we've never visited. 🙂
I'm looking forward to a breakout year for personal learning.
I have checklists under development for gaining and/or expanding my automation knowledge, network knowledge, security knowledge, and 5G knowledge in the eleven months remaining within the year 2021.
Stay the course and #learneveryday!!!
