How to Create QoS rule based on user

L1 Bithead

Hello dear..

We have a network that includes an active directory on server, computers, and Palo alto firewall, so we need to create a Qos rule based on the user to give each windows user 2MB in both the Ingress/Egress interfaces on the Palo alto Firewall

Hello @Ziad_Zahra if you're looking to setup a QoS policy please check out the following link: https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/pan-os/10-0/pan-os-admin/quality-of-service/configure-qos

You will need to setup a QoS profile to match the desired throughput, QoS policy, and enable QoS on the interfaces where you would like to enforce such policies. In the policy is where you would specify source IPs/users.
