Someone please help on this...
Unable to reduce high disk usage of PA firewall and also not able take access through Winscp.

and while cleaning the disk usage command it gives below error.
"Server error : op command for client dagger timed out as client is not available"

Which partition are you trying to clean up?

I am trying to clean below two.

/dev/root 3.8G 3.4G 296M 92% /

&
/dev/mmcblk0p8 3.7G 2.5G 1.1G 71% /opt/panlogs


And i am using this command to clean;-  "

debug software disk-usage cleanup deep threshold 90

Can you give output of 'show system disk-space' command to see utilization of all partitions.

 

No need to clean /opt/panlogs as this is where Palo keeps traffic and threat logs.

It will automatically delete older logs to avoid filling up that partition.

You can adjust how much logs to keep at 'Device > Setup > Management > Logging and Reporting Settings'

You can try to reboot firewall.

This often frees up some disk space.

Also upgrade to latest patch release as Palo often adds fixes to clear disk space.

 

For example another one in currently latest 11.1.x release.

 

PAN-274496
Fixed an issue where the root partition reached 100% which caused the system to become non-functional and fail over even when aggressive cleaning was enabled.
