Prisma SASE - MacOS & Global Protect

L1 Bithead

Hello All

Pulling my hairdout here metaphorically .

Having issues where Global Protect just drop connections to Prisma.

I actually saw this first hand this morning.

I am running a MacOs 13.6.1 on an M1 with GP version 6.2.1.

Was a general internet issue which I monitored with a ping to global DNS , responses plus 500ms+

GO connection starts to cylce and keeps disconnecting .

Ping timers return to normal bu GP keeps cycling.

I try to unload the client & reload it .

Stop PanGPS
launchctl unload /Library/LaunchAgents/com.paloaltonetworks.gp.pangps.plist

Stop GlobalProtect (i.e. PanGPA)
launchctl unload /Library/LaunchAgents/com.paloaltonetworks.gp.pangpa.plist

Start PanGPS
launchctl load /Library/LaunchAgents/com.paloaltonetworks.gp.pangps.plist

Start GlobalProtect (i.e. PanGPA)
launchctl load /Library/LaunchAgents/com.paloaltonetworks.gp.pangpa.plist

This cycling on start up .

Turn out no DNS resolution happening even though client stopped.

Only a reboot fixes

Having loads of issue since the backend went upto 10.2.4 .

Anyone else seeing this ?
