Introducing ESA Pro with Strata Cloud Manager Pro: Unified Management and Operations solution along with Enhanced Support

Palo Alto Networks has announced a new ESA PRO offering, which now includes SCM Pro (Strata Cloud Manager Pro) at a value-added price. This enhanced offering brings together enterprise-grade support and unified management and operations capabilities in a single package. The Core ESA, now supercharged with SCM Pro, is designed to strengthen security posture, streamline IT operations, and significantly improve customer support experiences — reducing time to resolution and simplifying day-to-day operations.

 

Transition to ESA with SCM pro

  • Existing ESA Customers:
    Current ESA customers will not be automatically grandfathered or migrated to ESA Pro with SCM Pro. At renewal, these customers will transition to the new ESA Pro offering that includes  SCM Pro.

  • SCM ELA2 addon Transition:
    The legacy SCM ELA2 add-on SKU will no longer be available for new or renewal quotes after October 31, 2025. However it can be used to 
    • Extend your SCM ELA2 license while expanding HW estate 
    • Attaching SCM ELA2 add-on for your existing EA mid-term

  • Government Customers:
    Federal, State, and Local Government customers are currently not eligible for the combined ESA Pro and SCM Pro bundle SKU. These customers may continue to purchase ESA and SCM separately and request pricing parity with commercial ESA Pro SKU where possible.

 

How to activate SCM pro with ESA Pro?

To activate SCM Pro included in your ESA Pro entitlement:

  1. Log in to the Hub Portal.
  2. Select the ESA Activation tab.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete activation.
