Hi Dieter, You can check what version of BrightCloud you're using in the UI by checking the dashboard under general information.  Alternatively, you can use the CLI command "show system info" BrightCloud is currently not showing any service outages in Europe: http://www.brightcloud.com/status/eu.php#service To eliminate the possibility of DNS TTL, can you (and Kalyan) let me know if you are using your own DNS server or are you using one from your ISP?  Do you know what the cache policy is?  Do they obey DNS TTL? Hi Kalyan, There was indeed an outage at BrightCloud yesterday - they're currently working with their service providers to identify the root cause of the failure and working on improving their failover procedures to reduce the impact on customers such as yourself.  I'm hopeful that the chances of this type of outage will be minimized in the future and appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as BrightCloud works to resolve their issues. Hi everyone, Your URL filtering subscription license entitles you to URL category information.  As you've noticed, when you configure your URL filtering profile, you must select whether you want to allow or block all traffic upon license expiration.  This means that regardless of what action you've set for a particular category, the engine will either allow or block the traffic depending on that setting.  Allow/Block lists and custom categories still apply, but you will no longer have access to the category of a URL once your license expires.  To prevent any lapses in security policies, please make sure your licenses are renewed prior to expiration. --Doris ...
