High Disk Space Usage on / root partition and How To Clear

L0 Member

Hi Everyone,

I got issue about "High Disk Space Usage on /root partition" on Firewall-VM300 with PAN-OS Ver. 10.2.3.

I try to do follow step in this KB https://knowledgebase.paloaltonetworks.com/KCSArticleDetail?id=kA10g000000ClaJCAS

But still problem and now it show "non-function" when I ssh to run cli.

Please advise how to resolve this issue.

Hello @jirapan_m

are you running Global Protect on that Firewall? If yes, you might be hitting below issue addressed in PAN-OS 10.2.4-H3.

PAN-219355
Fixed an issue where disk space became full due to a GPSVC FD leak.

Kind Regards

Pavel
