Editing details in xsoar integration

L1 Bithead

Hi ,

just want to know if we change the password or any details in a XSOAR integration that fetches incidents do we have to change the “ first fetch time stamp” to fetch new incidents alone ?  Or will it just pull new incidents after the password change ?

For example : I have an integration xyz that is fetching incidents and I decide to change the password. So I disable the integration and change the password and then enable it. Will start fetching incidents from the time it stopped or should we change the first fetch to avoid pulling duplicates  ?

Hi @RameshRath,

Integrations can maintain the last fetched timestamp or incident number. This is saved inside a field called last_run. For more information refer - https://xsoar.pan.dev/docs/integrations/event-collectors.

If you disable the integration, change the password and re-enable it. It should resume from the last fetched incident. But again this depends on the integration in question. There is an edge case where the integration is disabled for a long time and the fetch query does not look-back far enough.
