Base Configuration[Output] empty

L1 Bithead

Hello,

i am running an Expedition 1.2.71 intalled on an ubuntu vm. the whole installation followed the instructions.

strangely enough i can't select a device when exporting the config. the whole window is empty

I have created the device, imported the configuration and created the project.

I have done all the steps as described in the youtube guide. I just have no way to merge the two configurations.

Someone an idea?

Greetings,

Daniel

When you import the pan-os config , did you retrieve the whole running config from the device , and in the import tab, click on the device to import the config ?  After the import , you should see objects and policy under the config name . If you are not seeing the objects and policy that means it's not imported.

@DanielEsbach , please expand the down arrow right located left of the base config folder, you should see folder structure of the configuration file.  Sam thing on the left side, you should see folder structure of the source config.  Merged is between 3rd party vendor and PAN-OS only

Thanks for your reply. On the left side the Cisco ASA Config is there. On the right side should be the palo conifg three. But unfortunately the field is empty.
