10.1.3 - PAN-OS Certificate Expiration on Dec 31 2023

L0 Member

Hello All,

I checked my client's firewall, they are using 10.1.3 version.

Scenario 1 : Data distribution, based on the Device -> Monitor -> Date Redistribution -> Agents page it is blank and not configured.

Scenario 2 : The firewall is placed at the DMZ between the Control network and the Enterprise network, i checked Objects -> URL Filtering // Monitor -> URL Filtering // Monitor -> WildFire Submission but i do not seem to find any configurations on the WildFire public cloud, Advanced WildFire public cloud, URL Filtering, Advanced URL FilteringDNS SecurityThreat Vault, or AutoFocus.

(If possible to guide me on where can i confirm if i do not have WildFire public cloud activated please let me know)

With both scenarios not fulfilled, does my client still require upgrading to 10.1.3-h2??

Please advise.

Thanks,

Hi @KJTeoh ,

Wildfire public cloud is a free service and the configuration can be found here:

https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/pan-os/10-1/pan-os-admin/getting-started/enable-basic-wildfire-for...

Note however that for Advanced Wildfire features an additional Wildfire license is required: https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/advanced-wildfire/administration/advanced-wildfire-overview/advanc...

If you do not match any of the scenarios then you are not obligated to upgrade.

Kind regards,

-Kim.
