acc risk factor

Not applicable

Hello Support Team,

I'd like to know a mathematical formula of acc risk factor.

It doesn't seem a session-based average value.

Tomoyuki Komure

The ACC risk calculation is a weighted calculation using session counts, byte counts and risk of the applications running through the device. We don't plan to expose the specific mathematical calculation.

Hello Johnny,

Thank you for the useful document.

But I'd like to know about acc risk factor in Dashboard and ACC of WebUI.

How does the PA calculate this number?

Regards,

Tomoyuki Komure

the rick factor is a average of a given period of time. for example the dashboard is a risk level of the last 60 minutes. if you go to the acc and click on last hour  you will see which applications were detected. Than the palo will average that number and determine your risk level for that time period.

Hello Johnny,

Please look at the attended picture.

Could you tell me the mathematical formula of  the rick factor "Risk 3.9"?

Tomoyuki Komure

The ACC risk calculation is a weighted calculation using session counts, byte counts and risk of the applications running through the device. We don't plan to expose the specific mathematical calculation.

how can i get the "acc risk factor" value, via snmp?

Hey TedLin,

Maybe worth a look: Re: Read ACC Risk Factor with API or SNMP.

Kind regards
