Hi all,
Could you guide me on how can I block the Google Drive Desktop app?
I've been reading articles and previous posts, but I couldn't understand them properly.
If anyone could provide me with any insights, thanks for your time.

Hi,
Found this article. I'm experiencing the same issue.
Palo identifies google-drive-web, so when you access google drive via a browser. I've spent some time reviewing and going through logs and can't seem to isolate traffic towards the google drive desktop application, not the website via browser.
What I have been able to identify is google-docs, google-sheets, google-slides. So, I can go and block them, but I would like to block traffic from the google drive desktop application.
The above-mentioned knowledgebase article refers to URL google drive.

Hello,
Yes block the URL. Also if you are ssl decrypting the traffic you can block all the applications as well.
