Captive Portal not working on Google Chrome, Edge, Firefox on PAN-OS 10.1.0

L3 Networker

Hi Team,

We had upgraded the firewall version to 10.1.0

Then captive portal is not working on firefox, Edge, Chrome.

It is working only on Internet Explorer older versions only.

Not working on any other browsers.

checked all the settings from knook and corner but no config issue and when the client intiates the sesion it is terminated with redirect to auth profile as end reason.

Also disabled the tokens using the below command:

>configure

#set deviceconfig setting captive-portal disable-token

#commit

Hi , We had downgraded the firewall to 10.0.8 today which is the stable version as of now as 10.1.0 is still in development . We tested again with 10.0.8 and we are able to get captive portal Authentication on Chrome, Firefox, Edge without any issues.

Also run the below command after down gradation if the issue is not yet resolved.

>configure

#set deviceconfig setting captive-portal disable-token yes

#commit

While downgrading the device firewall will ask to select an config file select the "running config" file otherwise firewall may produce auto-commit error and you will not be able load the config file onto firewall after down gradation.

Hello, good evening, I have exactly the same problem. It works with IE, with Firefox, but with Edge and Google Chrome, you press connect, connect and the web portal is not displayed, instead in other browsers if.

Please community your help.

Thank you, best regards
