I am running Palo Alto Pan OS version 7.1.11 and need to adjust my captive portal settings. How do I disable or bypass the captive portal for particular networks. I have a guest network that I do not want any authentation and need to make sure the user is not bothered by a pesky captive portal logon.. Thanks

Hi @rmsdip3,
You can edit your Policies under Captive Portal. (goto Policies > Captive Portal)
Just add/configure a rule with the action 'no-captive-portal' for the appropriate zones/networks.
This action is to allow traffic to pass without presenting a captive portal page for authentication.
Cheers !

Does making this change supersede any kind of web filters that are applied to that network? I do want to allow access without the logon, but I still need to regulate where they go on the internet..
Thanks
Rich

Hi @rmsdip3,
The captive portal policies is only used to set up and customize a captive portal.
In will not change other policies you have in place.
Cheers !
