Chromebook Global Protect failing

I have Setup Global Protect but my chromebook is failing to connect, I thought my config was dud but I have just tried to connect with my macbook and it works exactly as it should.

I can't see why the chromebook wouldn't work, clearly the setup must be right.

Re: Chromebook Global Protect failing

Hi Terry,

Welcome to the Palo Alto community!

I'd start with checking the certificate because I can see this failing repeatedly.

3/17/2017, 5:06:54 PM: update e/w with error:Gateway Ext-GW: Server certificate verification failed

I'd suggest opening a TAC case so this issue can be resolved better via a call.

Regards,

Anurag

Re: Chromebook Global Protect failing

Was there ever a resolution for this? We are seeing the same thing, but just for Chromebook users from a single country. We've opened a case but wanted to see if there was something obvious that would resolve the issue.

Re: Chromebook Global Protect failing

Hello,

I recently did the same thing but I didnt research it much. However the self signed certificate seems like the likely cause. See if there is a way to install the certificate onto the ChromeBook.

Regards,
