Clear Cache DNS on Panorama / Firewall

Hi All,

 

may i know if i use below command able to clear the DNS caches.

 

>show dns-proxy cache all
>clear dns-proxy cache all

what we want to ask is, if the command above is suffice to clear cache in panorama / firewall because during the swing from primary server to secondary for users still waiting for time for cache in their Firewall

You have the option to clear the cache on the MP using the command:

>clear dns-proxy cache all 

You can also clear the cache on the DP.

>debug dataplane reset dns-cache all 

 

Those commands should do the trick for you.
