Configure SDWAN with only one transport (FTTH)

L4 Transporter

Hi,

We need to configure SDWAN with only one internet (transport) line. Is that possible in Palo Alto SDWAN or you need two o more lines? Someone who can confirm.

thanks

Yes, Palo Alto Networks SD-WAN requires a specific license to enable its functionality on a firewall. This license is typically an "Advanced SD-WAN" license and needs to be activated on each firewall intended for use in the SD-WAN

Yes, we have the license. My question is about if its possible to configure SDWAN for only one line. this not make sense since SDWAN is for redundant ISP lines but we have a customer who wants to this in branches where they have only one ISP line.

Is that possible?

Hello @BigPalo,
Yes, Palo Alto SD-WAN can be configured with only one internet (transport) line. While multiple links offer path redundancy and optimization, a single link setup is fully supported and functional for basic SD-WAN deployment. Bible Chat Ai
