Need to know if i run this command what will it do?

the vardata-receiver (variable data receiver) is a process that does all the things the log-receiver doesn't want to do:
it creates pcaps,
it forwards logs out (smtp/syslog/panorama/...)
hope this helps

It restarts the Vardata Reciever server 😉
I'm not sure if it has any additional duties, but it plays a hand in the pcap process. It might be more then that, but that's the only process I know of that actually uses the vardata process.
