Differences between "panHAConfigFailureTrap" and "panHAConfigNotSynchTrap"

L4 Transporter

Hello

I'm working with the trap MIB and I doesn't understand the differences between these one. The descriptions in the MIB file are

panHAConfigFailureTrap: HA configuration push to peer has failed

panHAConfigNotSynchTrap: HA config not automatically synched

Could someone explain me the difference.

Best Regards

Hello Gonzalo,

panHAConfigFailureTrap: HA configuration push to peer has failed

This is when user manually syncs the configuration using GUI or CLI command

panHAConfigNotSynchTrap: HA config not automatically synched

This is when active firewall pushes config sync by itself

Ex: When you do a commit on active firewall, after commit success, active firewall pushes configuration to passive without manual sync

Hope this clarifies.

Hari Yadavalli

Thanks you!!!! I think it solves my doubt,
