My client is looking to perform additional validation on systems connecting to their Global Protect gateways to ensure they are company owned systems.
They use BigFix to manage their endpoints and they know if the Linux client is running the BigFix process it is running a company deployed image.
They would like to create a custom HIP check to identify this process and notify them when people are joining that are not running it.
Can we do this with Linux or is process checking limited to Windows and Mac only? I feel like I am seeing conflicting information on this.

Hi @TSilverline ,
I can't confirm if this will work for Linux. The documentation doesn't actually say.
That said, it shouldn't be too hard to test it, right ?
Since no one here confirmed it here you might want to check with TAC to get confirmation if it's designed to work for Linux processes as well.
Cheers !

I realise this is an old post, but I've got a very similar problem and can't get GlobalProtect for Linux HIP checks to fire successfully for a process running in Linux. Did you ever come to a resolution no this issue?
