Hey guys have any of you ever come across this issue:

Not applicable

I was looking at some logs and noticed data displayed in the screenshot below.  There are several things highly questionable about the data displayed here:

  • - The Start Time is in 2031, and the receive time is 2013.
  • - Bytes Received is about 2 exabytes (we have a large SAN, but not that large)
  • - Application is listed as web-browsing on UDP port 53

Is this a known bug, or can you help explain where these numbers come from?

Hello Hylton,

Please make sure you are running os version 5.0.8 or later.

This was a rare issue for one platform involving non-tcp\udp traffic. The details of this fix are located in the release notes for 5.0.8

54347- Extremely large amounts of traffic (Exabytes, or Billions of Gigabytes) were showing up in the ACC tab and logs for users. An issue where the date of record showed as starting in 2031 caused the incorrect counter of traffic, due to the date being set in the future. Date verification is now supported to prevent this from occurring.
