How do I add additional log storage to VM Series?

L0 Member

Hi All,

Well ive searched and everything seems to be related to Panorama.

I created a VM series firewall and left all as default, now ive filled up the log. Ive been searching and found someone mention to add a 2nd disk but ive done and reset the VM but to no joy so possibly it was only for panorama.

So what is the process?  Do i need to turn the VM off, and increase the size of the original virtual disk?  (i haven't tried as im worried to corrupt the data).

The deployment guide mentions it can do up to 2TB of storage, can i increase the size of the disk now it is in production?

Cheers

Michael

Thanks,

I found what i did wrong, i created a 2nd drive but only made it 20gig for testing, and that is why it didn't work due to it needs to be between 40g-2Tb.
